Delhi schools to reopen from November 1 for all classes, online classes stay
Last Updated : 27 Oct 2021 06:48:36 PM IST

Schools in Delhi will reopen from Monday for all students, with no more than 50 percent in the classroom, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said today. Physical attendance will be voluntary and parents will not be forced to send their children to school as classes will be held in a hybrid mode with both in-person and online classes going on simultaneously, he said.

Manish Sisodia said that no more than 50 percent of the students will be called to attend physical classes at a time. Schools will need to ensure that 100 percent of their staff is vaccinated. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).

Students from only classes 9 to 12 were allowed in schools so far.
