India score 503/7 in their first innings at lunch on the second day of the opening Test against Sri Lanka in Galle on Thursday.
It was not a good start for the Indian players on the Day 2 of the ongoing test match as its batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane were sent back to the pavillion by the Lankan bowlers in the first hour itself.
While Pujara, who crossed 150 runs, was dismissed by Nuwan Pradeep, Ajinkya Rahane fell down to Lahiru Kumara after scoring 57 runs.
At the break, Hardik Pandya was batting on 4 and Ravindra Jadeja on 8 at the other end.Brief scores:
